Get thee to Harrogate, UK…

When (not if, when) you go to Harrogate, stay here. This is my Carter on the steps of Alexa House, a wonderful Bed & Breakfast. I've stayed here twice now, and it's a warm place where you truly feel at home. Plus, the English breakfast is the best. 🙂 Dave & Sandra are the owners, and I can't thank them enough for their kindness. They went above & beyond the call of duty during my last stay to help me out (Dave chauffeured us to the airport at the last minute so we didn't have to take the train)…plus Sandra taught Carter all about "dippy" eggs (i.e. soft boiled eggs). Can't wait to go back! 

After you're all settled into Alexa, you need to go art with Dyan at her store, Art From the Heart. What can I say about Dyan? She's awesome, funny, generous, kind, giving, brilliant, talented, and just plain cool. I adore her. Teaching at her store is amazing…great setting, great students (the best!), you just breathe in the art and feel so fulfilled. Plus her store seriously rocks. Buy one of everything.
