Greetings from England!

Popping in to upload a few pics…the Inspired retreat is over, and it was a great event. I love walking around the class to see what students are creating…and holy frijoles, they made amazing and inspiring pieces!

This is Crabwell Manor, the location of the event. Loved it….it's an old converted castle, and the rooms are all unique.

This is part of the old wall that surrounds Chester. At one point in history the Romans were here, and there are even remains of a Roman wall and they've discovered the site of an amphitheater.

There are lots of tudor-style buildings in the Chester shopping district. Lovely!

Chester Cathedral….a lovely old cathedral that dates back as far as 927 AD.

Here's Karen Burniston, my long lost pretend twin separated from birth…heh heh. We had a blast, and bought these "jaunty caps" because it was raining and we were cold.

Here's another shot of Chester…and all the shoppers with their "brollys" (umbrellas).

I didn't take many pictures at the event (I was too busy teaching), but hope to steal, er, I mean ask politely if I can download some from Emma & Karen.

I'll leave you with a few shots of the interior of the Chester Cathedral.

I love England….so fun to be back here again after all these years (y'all know my family lived here for 3 years when I was a kid, right?) I just wish my fellas were with me! I'm bringing home 60 Curly Wurly's and 48 Star Bars and 5 lbs of gummy sour coke bottles!! 🙂
