Chunky Background-Technique Book

Saturday, Oct 29—NOTE this is a date change!!

10:30 am – 1:30 pm

 $35

 First we’ll create six backgrounds–paint, ink, modeling paste, tape, stenciling…so fun! I’ll show you some fun background techniques, such as plastic printing, dimensional stenciling, glazing over tape, etc. Then we’ll cut down the backgrounds and bind them into a chunky little book. You can use your book as a little art journal, a scrapbook, anything!

Please bring to class:

• Gesso
• Your favorite acrylic paints
• Your favorite brushes
• Adhesive (like a UHU glue stick or a dry adhesive like ATG)
• Corner Chomper (I will have mine, but if you bring yours, you won’t have to wait)
