He was hit by an SUV while going to work 3 weeks ago and had been in a coma. He leaves three boys, and one on the way. Needless to say, I&#39;ve been absent from the blog-o-sphere this week, I haven&#39;t been creating anything to share, haven&#39;t felt peppy. The funeral is today. I&#39;ve been reflecting on how we don&#39;t have any guarantees, how life is fleeting and precious. How we need to live with no regrets. How we need to make a mark on the world and express love. How we need to enjoy the journey. That&#39;s all so trite, but at times like this it&#39;s what comes to you as truth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week a friend&#39;s husband passed away.
