I am sure you all know how much I love <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rangerink.com\/products\/prod_dyeink_adirondackcolorwash.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tim Holtz Adirondack Color Wash ink by Ranger<\/a>&#8230;.there are so many great techniques you can do with it. Here&#39;s a little something to try&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>1.&#0160;&#0160;&#0160; Gesso your surface and let it dry. Mine is my art journal (a watercolor Moleskine).<\/p>\n<p>2. &#0160;&#0160;&#0160; Spray some Wild Plum (or Purple Twilight) Adirondack ink onto your surface. Be generous with the ink&#8230;you want a lot of pigment there.<\/p>\n<p>3.&#0160;&#0160;&#0160; Take a wet paintbrush and move the ink around the page. You could even dilute it a bit and let the ink run like I did.<\/p>\n<p>4.&#0160;&#0160;&#0160; Let the purple ink dry completely.<\/p>\n<p>5.&#0160;&#0160;&#0160; Grab your Butterscotch ink and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dickblick.com\/products\/speedball-lettering-nibs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">calligraphy dip pen<\/a>. Dip the pen in the Butterscotch ink and tap off excess. Write with the pen &amp; ink right over the dried purple area. As the Butterscotch ink dries, it takes on a glowy quality that looks so cool!<\/p>\n<p>6. &#0160;&#0160;&#0160; Grab a stencil and your Butterscotch ink and add some stenciling (spray, and blot with one pass of a roll of paper towels). Cool, eh?<\/p>\n<p>This will be a background for a future art journal page. I just love the way the Butterscotch ink interacts with the Wild Plum ink&#8230;stunning!
