This first one isn't a journal page, it's a canvas. But I love it. There's just something about the composition as a whole that made it "click" for me.<\/p>\n
\n This one's not a journal page, either…it's a crazy piece I did at ArtFest in Jesse Reno's class. It's big and weird and I just had so much fun creating it.<\/p>\n \n I like this girl's weird coloring and strong attitude.<\/p>\n \n There's something so powerful in a gestural line…that's something I want to explore more in 2013.<\/p>\n \n Half faces, but still powerful.<\/p>\n \n A page about insecurities…don't we all have them?<\/p>\n \n I really love this one. I used it for my new business cards and some 5×7 prints.<\/p>\n \n I still love the power of simple shapes…like the heart.<\/p>\n \n And this year saw the beginning of my gelli-printing obsession…<\/p>\n \n And my love of silhouettes rages on…<\/p>\n \n There is still no better place than a journal to spill out your emotions…<\/p>\n \n Let whatever you do today be enough.
