Join me for a weekend workshop at Ranger Headquarters!

We are going to take a black Dina Wakley journal (the one with all the fun substrates) and alter it to turn it into a masterpiece. We’ll create two internal mini journals inside, using paints, gloss, collage, beads, fibers, and fabrics.

Workshop Location: 

Ranger Headquarters, 15 Park Rd, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724

The closest hotel is Sonesta Select Tinton Falls, which is 5-minute walk to Ranger.

Price is $630, which includes:

• Most supplies (see “please bring” for more info).
• Lunch daily.
• Dinner on Saturday evening.
• Snacks and drinks.
• Earplugs for Dina’s singing. (Ha, just kidding. Sort of.)

Schedule:

10 am to 5 pm, Friday, June 12  (doors open at 9:30 am). Introductions. Factory tour. Create collage elements and other creative fodder that we need for our work. Cut into the journal and shape the internal signatures.

10 am to 5 pm, Saturday, June 13: We’ll choose themes and start creating loose, organic backgrounds on our pages. We’ll also create fibrous, textural collage elements to add.

10 am to 4 pm, Sunday, June 14: Finish up pages and create the journal cover.

Please Bring:

• A Tiny Attacher and staples, if you have one (optional).
• Posca pens for journaling (white and black are fine).
• 12″ ruler
• Craft knife
