I am posting one more Tahoe pic. It’s not a masterpiece, but I love the color gradation. That’s my squirt out on the swimming platform. See how clear the water is? Love that lake.

Voila, here’s a page I started before I left for Tahoe. I realize you either like the artsy fartsy/art journal approach to scrapping, or you don’t get it. If you don’t get it, that’s okay. It doesn’t hurt my feelings.

and that’s saying something. Came across the Numa Numa guy’s new website today…it annoys me. He’s got a sequel to the enormously popular "Numa Numa" video (click the link on his site, if you really wanna see the new video). The sequel reeks of self importance and cheap Stetson cologne. Ugh. Two thumbs down…waaaay down. Boo to pretentiousness. Boo.

I’ve done 4 loads of laundry today and I actually folded them. And I mopped the kitchen floor. So now I feel entitled to do nothing for the rest of the day, except for spending money at Target which I plan to do wantonly.

A few pics…mostly boring posed pics. I didn’t feel like being the mamarzzi on this trip…so I didn’t take many pics, and those I did take aren’t great.

I’m soooo excited to sleep in my own bed tonight! My bed! My pillows! My Tivo! Yay!

I had an Alphabetica journal waiting for me when I got home…so art will most assuredly be forthcoming.

When’s the last time you had a TV dinner? We ate ’em tonight here in the Tahoe timeshare. Marie Callendar’s Honey Roasted Chicken. I give it a 6 out of 10. Most TV dinners are about a 2 out of 10, so it was palatable. We’re laying low until the Labor Day crowds thin out.

Have you seen the fab art zine called Portals? I highly recommend it…great art & articles. I was one of the artists spotlighted in an article about art spaces (the rooms in which we create). I was  thrilled to be in the zine, even for just a little art space highlight.

Made this page for ScrapGal. It’s pretty much a mess, but yeah, I  guess that’s what I was going for.

I’m surviving…school (getting 3 kids’ homework done each night is monumental)…church (had to give a talk on Sunday)…all the usual stuff. I have a case of the blahs today. It’s a good day to surf the net and look at meaningless stuff that you don’t need:

• A stuffed stinky clove of garlic from Shawnimals. I mean, why not? Go ahead and put him on the living room couch.

• A used tissue made out of felt from My Paper Crane. Umm. Yeah.

• A monster flash drive from Magic Pony. I think it’s an ominous omen for your data, though.
