New Hambly

When the new Hambly product came this week, I gasped when I opened the box…so many great new designs! Little circles, butterflies, big swirly frames, leafy vines, baby onesies…sigh. Love it all.

Honored & stoked…

A few months back, the talented gals from Artful Blogging asked me to be in their magazine…and I got my issue today! I screamed when I saw a little piece of one of my art journal pages on the cover…I'm honored & seriously stoked (how's that for an '80s term?) to be included in this magazine with all the other talented artists & bloggers. I really do feel unworthy, but am excited & honored all the same.

I am in love…

I recently got my hands on some of those new Maya Mists. I've been dying to try them (you all know about my supreme fetish for spray ink). My review can be summed up in four words: I am in love!

The Maya Mists spray like a dream–the mist is even & fine, and is the most consistent spray that I've ever used. The Mists that have a metallic shimmer to them have a metal bead in the bottle that helps distribute the shimmer throughout the ink before you spray (like the metal beads in nail polish). The result is very even, super shiny shimmer (no glops). The Mists dry fast, too…faster than my other inks. I love how they can be layered…you can add color on color and they work together so well. Anyway, I'll stop gushing…here's what I did while playing today:
