Have you seen this month's gallery at Kenner Road? Seriously amazing work…and I don't mean by me, lol, I mean by my fellow DT members. Go check it out.
See Martha? Isn't she cute? Martha saved my hiney while we were teaching at Scrap-a-licious in Holland by hauling home tons of stuff I couldn't fit in my suitcase…plus she was my shopping buddy and all-around emotional support. When she mailed back my stuff, she included a handmade pirate monster for my collection…isn't he fantastic? I love his little tag that says, "Oh, grrr." Carter thinks the pirate is his, but alas, he is mine, all mine.
Did a bit o'scrapping…here are some Kenner Road peeks!
Long trip.
Good trip.
Met some wonderful, adventurous students who weren't afraid to try something new and get their hands dirty.
Met some wonderful fellow teachers, kindred spirits, and friends who lifted me up.
Lots of good food consumed.
Lots of great art created.
Lots of lessons learned.
So happy to be home! I missed my fellas intensely.
I'll be editing pics for days…will share some soon. Here are a few pages I did on the trip…all started as demonstration pages for my classes (hence their similarity).
I know I've been AWOL…the last week leading up to my grand European adventure was wrought with stress, sleepless nights, and more to do on my to-do list than was humanly possible. Then, we ended up leaving a day early because the flights looked bad, so I packed for a 3-week trip to Europe in 3 hours. Um, yeah. Stress city. It's amazing that I remembered toothpaste–but I didn't remember my memory card reader. Oy! Reed brought it to me when he came to Barcelona, so I'm in business now.
Anyhoo…teaching in Holland was a blast with the seriously fabulous gals Corinne and Martha. Dutch scrappers are very adventurous…I showed them the techniques and they were off & running, creating amazing things that were very inspiring! I loved seeing their inky fingers…my mission is to spread a love of spray-ink throughout the world. 🙂 A few of the gals there had taken my art journaling classes & brought their journals to share…it was a thrill to see their work.
Now I'm in Barcelona…I teach on Saturday, and am really looking forward to the creativity of the students. I love sharing art, it's so empowering.

Here are a few peeks for the classes I'll be teaching at Scrap-a-licious 2009 in Holland! Come and join me! 🙂
The fabulous March Kenner Road kits & add-ons will be available at 9:00 p.m. PST on the 14th! kl does such an amazing job with these kits–vintagey goodness, perfectly combined PPs…you will love it.
There's a class starting Monday at Get It Scrapped that looks so great…I need to take it because I am digi-impaired. I stink at digi-scrapping! Pattie Knox is teaching Mad Digital Skillz…Pattie (with a little help from her friends at Designer Digitals) brings
you power-packed products, detailed lessons on how to use them, support
in the class forum, and challenges to get you going. Cool!!
Week 3 of my class is all about textures!
