Finally journaled on an older page…
I created this page a few months ago, but didn't journal on it until this week…

I'm surfacing from the holiday haze and finally posting some art journaling. I get a lot of questions about what white pen I use. I use the Sharpie Poster Paint Pen in white (the water-based one). I've heard that they are discontinued, so if you find a source, buy 'em all!
It's getting dark so the light is bad…but here are a couple of peeks. One is just random scraps, stapled onto a page…love doing stuff like that.
Check it out over at the Kenner Road blog!
The ugly truth is that there is paint on everything in my studio. Case in point…my sewing machine. lol! I love it, though…it's worn and slightly abused, but I use it every single day and it serves me well.
Lots of goodness going on in the Kenner Road December gallery…and the amazing Kendra McCracken is the guest this month! You have to go see her walnut-ink stained mini album.
When I teach my "Introduction to Art Journaling" class at Creative Quest (an awesome store in downtown Glendale), I always make a couple of pages to demonstrate the techniques I am teaching. Here are a couple of shots of those pages.
I know I've been AWOL…you know when you have dreams that you're running but you're not moving anywhere? That's sorta like how my life's been the last few weeks….sigh.
Here are a couple of Kenner Road peeks…the reveal is tonight!!
Check out 3 of my Christmas layouts at Jenni Bowlin Inspiration. Have I mentioned lately how much I adore Jenni Bowlin? She's the nicest person in the industry, plus her products are seriously awesome.
You can follow Jenni Bowlin Studios on Twitter (@jbsmercantile). She's giving away a $50 gift certificate next Friday (12/11) to a twitter follower…so get her added!
