Why I love repetition in art journaling….

I love to use repetition in my art journaling. When I find an image I like, or a motif, I use it over and over. I make it work for me, stretch it, alter it, experiment with it. Here are 3 pieces using the same silhouette, but each piece looks different, has its own meaning & feel.

Fixed an error in my class listing….

Just FYI, I had a typo/error in the class listing for my May Creative Quest classes (thanks Jennifer for spotting that!). I fixed it…the Hardware Store Art Journaling class is Tuesday, May 11th from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.  Happy art-ing!

Taught the “painted portraits” class last Saturday…

and this is one of the examples I quickly made during class. Love how "pop art" the portraits become when you do this technique!
